The problem I'm having is when my PPC connects to my win98 machine, it loses the connection within 5 seconds. It connects OK with an NT workstation, so it's not the cable. Might there be a problem with the 98 com driver and ActiveSync?

PS- Hyperterminal can connect the PPC and 98 machines successfully.

Hi,
Did you install any software that would replace the TCP/IP stack? The MS Proxy client conflicts for example.
