My question is this - I have USED my phone (HTC 6800/Mogul/Titan) with my home's wireless router, MANY times before.. and the network key that I have entered is valid. I've tried the network key on several notebooks and the network key is correct. For many months I have been able to USE my phone's wifi adapter to connect to my home's highspeed wireless router... without any troubles... until the other day.
When I would turn on my switch, to turn on the Wifi, it would see my home network, then I would connect and you can see it trying to connect, and then comes back several seconds later with "Network Key Incorrect" - but infact, the KEY is correct. Ive tried a COPY and PASTE idea, which failed to work, and I also typed the network key in manually, and still the same error.
I have ALSO reset my phone back to factory settings, and Still, the phone won't connect. I've tried several other options in trying to get my phone to connect to my home's wirelees router, without success. I'm just baffled that my PHONE had WORKED on my network MANY times before without a hitch, and NOW.. all of a sudden, I cannot connect my phone. Keeps telling me the key is wrong.
There has been no modifications to my home wireless router, so I'm fairly certain that this is not the problem, since I am able to connect other devices wireless without a problem.
-- I can connect to OTHER wireless networks, but I cant seem to connect to my home network any longer. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!
