I have a new iPaq 111 running Windows Mobile 6. I am frustrated to find that an extra space always appears at the beginning of any data or formula I enter in Excel. The result is that formulas are entered as text unless I go back and delete the space. This did not occur on my old PDA with older software. Is this normal and intentional? Is there any way around it?
Is this happening to your existing spreadsheets or any new spreadsheet you create? According to my opinion, it could be due to a macro running in the background. Can you do a check for running macros? There is no reason why a space should be suffixed to your formulas automatically.
