Hello all.

I've assigned an image as the background image on the today screen and reckon it's an exercise in tokenism by HTC. The image appears murky and the platform won't accept transparency.

Does anyone know how to assign a background image with stunning effect?

I wanted to put the BMW roundel in the lower right of the screen and used a typical transparency technique using bright pink and then tried bright green and saved them as gifs.
