Can not sync my contacts

Hello all,
I've looked around all through the forums and haven't found what I'm looking for.

I had a PocketPC6700 and it was syncing correctly on all topics on my laptop. But, when I upgraded to the PocketPC6800 it would not sync my contacts. It syncs everything else.

If I go into the activesync on my phone it will show the contact box, but I can not check it.

I am having the same issue on my desktop as well.

Two different editions of Outlook on two different computers. I can't seem to figure out why it won't let me select the contacts... any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
What version of Windows Mobile is on the 6800 (probably Windows mobile 6.0) and what version of ActiveSync is installed on the PC?

it is v. 6.0

and active sync is 4.5.0, it came with the phone.

Hi,
It could be getting stuck on a contact. Try creating a new contact folder and move all the contacts there. Then sync. Then move the contacts back until you find the contact which is causing the problem.

Chris- I just had luck with able to transfer selected contact groups into Device via copy-into Outlook PCS folder. But It was a bit mess in device with appearing all under one heading "Contact" without categorised group. How can I conduct to appear exactly like from PC. Utilising Active Syn4.5, Win mobile 5, and Outlook 2007 in PC. Looking forward!
