I was wondering how you can enable PAP Authentication for a dialup connection. I am trying to use dialup on my PocketPC thought my cell phone and it needs PAP and I can't get it to work. It keeps comming up with invalid username/password.

Thanks,
David

Hi,
Windows Mobile should try both CHAP and PAP to connect. However your server may not like that CHAP is being tried first.

PAP is insecure because the password is sent clear text over the line.
