OK, what I'm trying to do is difficult for me to describe, but here goes:
I'm using Outlook. I have an Exchange server at work, and Outlook is connected to it in cached mode. I have created a separate local PST file that I would like to sync to my phone for Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, and Notes. The reason for this is that I do not want my calendar, etc, going onto the Exchange server. I don't need to sync email since I can just get my email wirelessly on the phone.
Is it possible to have Outlook connected to an Exchange Server, but then sync a phone to a different PST file and not the Exchange server?
I apologize if I'm not being clear. I want to sync with only ONE computer, therefore one copy of Outlook. I want to have access to my Exchange server via Outlook, but I want to sync the phone to a different PST file that is NOT connected to Exchange.
Since you can have multiple PST's open within Outlook, I want to have Activesync sync with one of them even though there is an Exchange mailbox listed there too.
Essentially, I want DO NOT want to sync with Exchange, even though there is an Exchange mailbox in Outlook.
