What kind of support for expansion slots do you guys wish to see in the future on the PocketPC? Built in or sleeve?
SD,SDIO : I like these for memory. I don't see the IO portion happening anytime soon, except maybe Bluetooth due to its short range and possibly lower power requirements. Also - you can't beat the very small form factor. Built in, maybe two?
CF: Most universal, tons of products. I also prefer this to be built in. I can see this going into the future, especially for 802.11b/a/g support. A SDIO card does not have enough power to drive these (so I've read). I prefer these built in.
PC Card : I don't see a bright future for PC Cards. They are power hungry, bulky, and usually require another expensive add on sleeve and battery. Hate them. What do you think? Sleeve option is still ok though, but not built in.
How about built in Bluetooth or 802.11b? I am afraid that Bluetooth is still too early to commit a built in chip, not sure. I feel like I'd want to replace it someday with a newer bluetooth - is there a chance? 802.11b - maybe that's ok.
